London International Wine and Spirits Fair
The London Wine Fair was held at ExCel the 20-22 May. We exhibited at the fair for the first time, and were delighted with the interest, from both the UK and export markets for the wines we presented.
We featured some of our best-selling wines from the Bordeaux area, Bergerac, the Loire, Chablis and Alsace as well as our Cognacs and Armagnacs.

Sweden
We have recently started working in Sweden and have been quickly rewarded with success in a monopoly tender. Together with our importer, Boisson, we won a tender for a 2007 Menetou-Salon from Domaine Chavet in the Loire.
Our partner in this tender is Boisson, a young, new importation company in Sweden with an innovative approach. Sales of Domaine Chavet commence 1st May 2008 in Systembolaget shops for a limited period.
Norway
With our partners Cork Wines and Spirits, we have continued our success in Norway, with several new 
products winning blind tastings and being listed in the Vinmonopolet shops.
We have very recently heard we have won another Cognac listing, this time for a young 'Fins Bois' Cognac. This will go into the market in September and will be a full listing. This will be an excellent complement to our listing for the XO Borderies Cognac. Our long-term supplier Domaine Castel-Sablons provides the Cognac for both listings.
Our Chablis 1er Cru, Montee de Tonnerre, from Etienne Boileau at Domaine du Chardonnay, listed in May 2007, has proved to be extremely popular. Both the 2005 & 2006 vintages quickly sold out.
With the same Domaine, we have launched a Chablis 3-litre Bag-in-Box.
This has sold extremely well and the second shipment is on its way over to Norway.
Other recent successes in Norwegian tenders, have been an excellent Crozes Hermitage, Domaine de Veau d'Or, 2005. A spicy 100% Syrah cepage means it is a suitable complement for red meats, game and poultry. Staying in the same region, Domaine Richard's St Joseph 2004 has received critical acclaim sold well.
For dessert we have a 'liquory' Quarts de Chaume, 2004, from Chateau la Variere in the Loire.
Staying with Loire wines, our long-term listing of Domaine Chauveau's Pouilly Fume, 'La Charmette' continues to be a top seller.
