Vinification
Vinified in barrel for 12 months. Product of old vines.

Tasting notes:

  • Syrupy wine with a golden colour
  • Refined and elegant. Complex nose, with fragrance of exotic fruit, vanilla and honey
  • On the palate it shows opulence and finesse

Drinking advice

Served as an apéritif locally. Excellent accompaniment to foie gras and typical Périgord cuisine, as well as desserts. Or simply 'à deux' in front of a blazing fire...

Wine to be kept. Monbazillac wines are very good when mature, and can be kept for 20 years and more. As they age they often take on a deep golden yellow colour.
