Gewürztraminer

The typical Alsace grape Gewürztraminer is particularly aromatic, deriving from the old

variety "Traminer". It accounts for about 20% of the Alsace vineyard. It is a delicate and

fragile grape, sensitive to rapid changes in temperature, particularly in Spring and early summer.

Winemaker's notes:

Our award-winning Gewurztraminer has a brilliant golden yellow 'robe'

On the nose it has yellow fruit aromas, lifted with a hint of spice

The palate is full and opulent, with a long-lasting aftertaste.

Keep for up to 5 years

A fine wine to accompany strong-tasting dishes: foie gras, asian food, or even as an aperitif. Also enhances desserts

(eg fruit tarts), and its opulence harmonises well with 'tasty' cheeses such as Roquefort, Munster or

Pont l'Eveque.
