Situation: chalky Kimmeridgian strata, often containing small fossils of the small comma-shaped ostrea virgula oysters

Production: 16,000 bottles

The wine is vinified in vat and in French oak barrels. Alcohol fermentation occurs with selected yeasts. Malolactic fermentation

Tasting notes:

Beautiful light blond colour with hints of ash.

A rich aromatic nose characterised by ripe white fruits.

On the palate spring flowers with a long 'mineral' finish

Drinking advice:

Ideally consumed chilled at 14 deg. C. Can be consumed either as an aperitif, but also to accompany a meal. It is excellent with fish, shell fish and white meats. A wine to be laid down, and which will become more round and supple with age. Can be drunk 2 - 3 years after bottling, but for many tastes will be better after a couple more years in bottle.
