The rosé is produced by the "saignée" method as opposed
to the "pressurage direct" (direct pressing) method. The harvest is macerated,
which allows partial extraction of the anthocynanines, which colour the
juice. The saignée takes place after several hours of contact
- usually about 8 hours - hence the saying "saignée d'une nuit".
After 8 hours (the time of "saignée" at de Bonhoste, the first
juice is collected for the rosé.

Tasting notes
- The wine is shimmering pink
- On the nose it is fresh and zesty with fruity, floral notes
- On the palate it is 'acid drop' fresh with an excellent finish. Best
appreciated young.

Bordeaux Rosé wines show their best qualities when chilled to
about 8 deg C
This wine makes the perfect accompaniment to cold meats, kebabs, fish,
crudités, spicy foods, salads, savouries...
