38 communes have the right to produce Beaujolais Villages. Light and fruity, these wines are deep cherry-red in colour, with aromas of red and black fruits dominated by blackcurrants and strawberries. They are well-balanced, easy-to-drink and are versatile in accompanying many dishes.
Serve slightly chilled with cold meats and poultry.
